Green Day, Best Coast - April 3, 2013 - Ludacris Center, Philadelphia, PA

The original concert was scheduled for January 22, 2013 but Billie Joe Armstrong entered rehab after his outburst at the iHeartRadio Music Festival and Green Day had to reschedule the concert date to April 3, 2013. We missed Best Coast and the first Greed Day song because we got stuck in traffic. Green Day, newly inducted members into the Rock in Roll Hall of Fame, were fantastic especially with songs 14-19 in a row. Not to mention the classic double encore and a variety of cover songs in song 21. The sweet rhythm section of Mike Dirt and Tre Cool sound that much better live along with Armstrong's catchy harmonies. Billie Joe, who originally started as a drummer as a kid, swapped roles with drummer Cool for All By Myself and Dominated Love Slave. It was the only time on the 99 Revolutions tour that they played those two songs. J.A.R. was played only for the third time on the tour. Green Day is known for pulling fans from the crowd and letting them perform (regardless of their musical talents) the songs and they did just that with Longview. A very underrated concert that I often forget about. It left the crowd ecstatic and wanting more.
